Freckle like rash?

I noticed this rash that almost looks like freckles on my sons face first thing this morning - I’ve kept an eye on it today and it’s stayed the same and he doesn’t seem under the weather and is being his usual self. He tried food for the first time yesterday morning but that seems like a quite delayed reaction if it was a reaction? If it’s still there in the morning I’ll be taking him to the GP but of course my mind is going straight to meningitis and all the terrible things
