Sunbathing pregnant

Hey ladies might be a stupid question but is it ok to sunbathe pregnant? First week with lovely weather and I love the sun but my bump gets so hot? I know it’s not even that warm but I’m 35 weeks just don’t want to cook my baby girl 😫😂.

You should be fine as long as you stay hydrated and take regular breaks in the shade ☺️

I went on two beach holidays while pregnant and sun bathed all the time, but used 50 SPF on the bump.

Yes vitamin d is good for you :) Make sure you wear spf and hydrate as others have says. I covered my bump with a sarong on holiday when I got tooo hot

Also some sun creams protect you from the sun but also block out vitamin d so try to find a good one so you and baby both get benefits

Thanks ladies ❤️ yeah noticed I feel way more sensitive to the sun now? I’d never usually wear sun cream in the uk (bad I know) but even after 45 mins in the sun can see I’ve caught it a bit so will deffo be more careful! X

@Emma pregnant women are more sensitive to the sun so try not to burn or overheat! SPF, water and regular shade as we burn easier x

Yes! Get out there. Don’t put any spf chemicals on your skin, just be mindful not to burn xx
