We love Little Spoon it's so convenient. Plus the smoothies for snacks. It will save money to make things yourself so I'm going to work on that but time wise I love Little Spoon.
I second little spoon! It is definitely pricey, but with the first time user discounts it was at least fun to try and gave me new ideas to try to make/prep for my son!
We tend to make spicy or very saucey foods so meals were a struggle if what we planned wasn’t suitable for baby. I was so close to ordering from little spoon or something like it but figured I’d rather spend the money elsewhere because none of the meals looked that special. So I meal prepped some ground turkey options and got some pouches of tuna and salmon. That way I have proteins and then use frozen or fresh veggies depending on what we have. I just put the meat option in a microwaveable dish with the veggie and serve. I with the turkey I made some feta spinach meatballs, curry sweet potato and rice patties, egg roll flavored meatballs, and Italian carrot zucchini meatballs to serve with pasta sauces. It took less than an hour to make them I baked them until they were done and froze them. The tuna pouches are Mediterranean, lemon garlic, and sun dried tomato flavors. Salmon is plain. My son gobbles them and whatever veggie I serve them with up.
