Suncream

Is this a good suncream? She’ll be 6 months on the 8th and not sure what is the best to buy. And how old can they start having it

I had the adults one and it was really bad. I tan easily yet I burnt so won’t buy that for baby.

@Hayley what’s the best one to get?

I have Child’s farm but have also heard good things about Boots baby Soltan 50 🙂☀️

Apparently childs farm doesn't have a very good UV rating but I might be wrong?

@Hayley okay thank you

Minimum of 6 months old

My little girl has eczema so we used the e45 suncream when we took her abroad at 5 months, we obviously kept her in the shade as much as physically possible but I wanted the extra precaution there. We got on with it really well and she had absolutely no issues with it skin wise either x

For me the boots kids soltan 50+ water resistant is so good and you can get the roll on one which is top for quick top ups throughout the day and small for back packs

I second the Boots Soltan 50, my son has eczema prone skin & he’s been fine the last few days 🫶🏻 https://www.boots.com/soltan-kids-protect-and-moisturise-lotion-spf50plus-200ml-10283565?traffic=paid.shopping&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAA-AdmwToqywwbAOVM4jyTBqocwzb_&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpYT5pf39jAMVAIhQBh0-xxEPEAQYBSABEgIsfPD_BwE

la roche posay sunscreen. I have that one and that's meant to be really good. I use the skincare for myself as well as the baby range and she's got eczema

Boots kids 50+ has been great for us!

I second La Roche Posay! Dermatologist approved and great for sensitive skin too! https://www.boots.com/la-roche-posay-anthelios-dermo-baby-sun-cream-spf50-plus-50ml-10221515?srsltid=AfmBOopJpU1UE96lYFnc9LyUpLTLc2E-DxXANnyPq1aUm9W3kJSgQyNH

Altruist is affordable and has been created by a dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon.

We like the one you've shared. Aldi lacura always does really well in testing. 6 months plus for sun cream

I use La Roche Posay on my little one. It doesn't leave a white residue either.

I recommend getting the Yuka app, you literally scan any product and it’ll give you a score out of 100 on how good / bad he product is - if it’s bad it’ll tell you why, and will also give you better recommendations xxx
