Braxton hicks
Has anyone ever experienced braxton hicks early in the second trimester. I had on and off pain cramps lasting around 10-20 seconds this afternoon. I was reviewed and there’s no concerns but I never experienced them with my daughter, especially not this early

Yeah it was so scary started around lunchtime and was irregular for a few hours but the pain was quite bad. I went to triage and they weren’t concerned as I’ve no bleeding, no lower abdomen pain or back pain and it’s completely gone now. I’d never heard of it this early as I never experienced many with my daughter
Yes! I had braxton hicks starting at 16 weeks. They would last 30-90sec. I ended up delivering my baby at 26 weeks gestation
