I EBF and my son took the mam pacifier pretty much from the first week and still uses it.

I’m in the same boat. My daughter has tried 3 different pacifiers and hates them all. She looks so disgusted at it and spits it out. I just want her to take one to help soothe, she just wants to pacify in me. My son was also breastfed for 6 months and religiously took the MAM pacifier. Baby girl wants nothing to do with it though. They say a round nipple is best for a breastfeeding baby over a flat nipple but i think it depends on what baby will take!

My daughter started at the hospital during her hearing test. She loves the Nuby and itzy ritzy. She will do a Dr Brown but it's a bit big for her mouth so she doesn't prefer it. You can try pumping and using a bottle once in awhile just so there is incentive to take something that doesn't feel like breast.

@Allie I do also bottle feed her lol but she just doesn't like the pacifier

@Kelsey yeah my daughter just uses my boobs to go back to sleep with lol but she will start to come to work with me at a daycare lol and I can't sooth her with my boobs while I'm at work

@Natasha I will try the mam pacifier!

Mine only takes the tommee tippee because of how lightweight it is

mams are nice! my lo does not like the phillips—he spits them out as soon as he gets them. but for an alternative he loves mam and dr browns, hope that helps!

and when i say dr brown i don’t mean the big bulky one, i mean the suction free ones.

Have you tried a breast like pacifier? I EBF and these are the ones we use. she’s taken it since the night she was born with no nipple confusion! https://a.co/d/9Frkbln

Just keep trying different types. I also give my baby a chance to grip it with suction, before I let go or it might fall out

We switched from the Philips Avent Soothie to Tommee Tippee because the Philips Avent one was too heavy and she kept spitting it out. We love the tommee tippee one, and she’ll even keep it in while she’s sleeping now.

I was gonna try to use the nuk pacifier but ill definitely try all yall suggestions! I don't mind my boobs being her pacifier lol but at work I know that I can't be lol and i know that pacifier can lower her risk of SIDS and she's high risk since she was born early so I'm desperate
