Can we do a thread where ppl spill secrets of their jobs or things that have happened at their jobs lol or where we can all ask questions about certain jobs? Ppl make their own posts privately if they prefer.

I used to work a Pizza Hut and mostly all of us were all friends & sometimes ppl would drink beer from the freezer or we would find a couple making out in the freezer section (they both worked there) lmao sometimes we would find a bunch of employees hotboxing the little shed outback where all the pizza boxes are. Employees would have their friends call and mess up a pizza on purpose so we could eat it for free. Also, one time the owners son came in, he was like 14 & was a little asshole…he dropped the chicken wings on the floor and then put them to deep fry and served them to ppl. Another guy who was a creep had wiped his snot with his bare hand and proceeded to use his bare hands to prepare a salad for a customer. I was really young when I worked here and was not educated enough on how to handle these situations so plz don’t come for me 😅 I never did anything awful like that, but these ppl were out of control lol Also, I used to be a party promoter in Panama City Beach & a str*pper lol ask away But I want the tea on healthcare jobs at the hospital lol is it like Greys Anatomy in real life? Lol

I think hospital is illegal to talk about patience's I wish we could comment anonymous!

we used to make gravity bongs out of 2 liter bottles and buckets, and smoke in the walk in at my old pizza place job lmao

In high school and college i worked as a lifeguard, and yes, everyone is peeing in the pool.

I actually can’t tell specific stories because my job falls under HIPPA. But the jist is. I clean a lot of poop and hear a lot of crazy shit 🤣

My jobs have been boring besides coworker drama 🙄 OP what's your craziest stripper story? Also y'all are really making me not trust pizza from shops lol

Omg AT SONIC FAST FOOD all the employees never put on gloves when making the food … I was an assistant manager long time ago and I would talk to the general manager about it and they didn’t care Cooks were texting and cooking at the same time (grabbing their phone and making a burger, u guys know how dirty phones are!) A cook cut his hand and was bleeding didn’t put gloves on or washed his hands still made a sonic burger The same cook I also saw picked his nose and made a burger Another cook would stick his finger in his mouth like he was picking at his teeth and then made a burger None of them would wear gloves or wash their hands Idk working there made me not ever have sonic again now I just try to go to I know for sure the restaurants are clean Everything I saw 👀 I never trust any fast food again

call the retention line at At&t and 9/10 times you can get your bill reduced

wendy’s food is all frozen especially their nuggets

most people can not drive on the road. I have trained them.

Big insurance companies are putting the senior population jeopardy. most seniors can’t afford their medicine and they choose between food and their meds.

when you work through a staffing agency they’re actually taking a HUGE portion of your check like huge ..

security officers don’t really do much on the job lol 😂

During Victoria's secret annual sale (January and June) you can price adjust w weeks later when the cost goes down

I used to work in a pub restaurant chain and the hygiene in the kitchen was not good. The chefs would go out for a cigarette and come back without washing their hands, stuff would get dropped on the floor and picked back up regularly, an older lady chef used to cough all the time and used this tea towel over her shoulder to cough in to and then would use the same tea towel to wipe her work bench, we used to have to date label the food with two days and then it was supposed to be disposed of but they would just replace the label with a new one so you had no idea how old stuff was or when it was actually out of date, when people from the company came to do kitchen checks someone would run and warn the kitchen when they showed up so they would run around like mad putting hats and hair nets on and putting food we shouldn’t have or was expired in their cars until they had gone. I could go on and on honestly 😬

Oh and most of the chefs seemed to have alcohol issues, having a couple pints before work and then more on their lunch break was very common.

I’ve always said if you work in hospitality - you’re either an alcoholic, you do drugs or smoke cigarettes- you don’t typically last long if you don’t lol

Never eat a hot dog from the cinema ... More than likely they have been on the floor at some point

I used to work at KFC. I wish I could tell you the 11 herbs and spices.

Target & Starbucks- most of the managers treat you like a robot not a person (was told to climb a ladder and clean with bleach while pregnant when someone else perfectly capable was there ) and most male employees are a bunch of pdf files. also WASH YOUR CLOTHES BEFORE WEARING. I can’t tell you the amount of people that touch them/amount of times they’ve been dropped on the floor/been in a nasty cart/etc

I used to work at a Five Guys when I was like 15 & people would regularly smoke 🍁 in the walk-in 🤣 I also worked at a pizza place around the same age and the men who worked there were SUCH creeps, would probably be considered sexual harassment these days tbh

I worked security at a hospital, this guy was brought in by police. He ended up stabbing a police officer and police just handed him off to us security when we all we had was medical gloves and a t-shirt that said security on it. I was the only female on the team and we had to take him to a locked room. After some research found out he been arrested multiple times for violence against women including beating a woman badly with a bat. We should never of been left with him and police should have taken him to jail. Even almost 5 years later I still remember everything about him, I had nightmares for awhile

I was a career steep roofer but I've also worked in food service like restaurants, daycares, and as a manager for a few gas stations. Worst was a coney that was actively screwing the girls out of their paychecks. The owner was a coke head and he'd steal from the til and take it out of the waitresses pay. He was also sexually harassing them. Also, there were roaches. I called the BBB and health department on the place multiple times. Needless to say the business switched ownership. Working in construction I had a few home owners make sexual advances, and I shut them down. I've seen daycare workers leave script bottles of pills and vapes laying around where toddlers got a hold of them. I've seen the worst in human behavior in many fields.

@Melanie pizza shops are wild lol. I worked in one from age 16 to 22 ish. I actually didn't see any disgusting behavior from employees, like not washing hands or serving food that had been on the floor. But some of the managers were awful and would want us to use old dough or give us crap for tossing ingredients that weren't fresh. But a large number of my coworkers were high 24/7. I feel like pizza and weed just go together 😂

@Melanie well now that I think about it I don’t think I can talk about all my crazy stories online for legal reasons 🤣🤣 but a lot of stuff that happened had to do with other girls haha a lot of them are wildin lol this one club I worked at didn’t have pr*stition (thank god) but the locker rooms were crazyyyy, this one time I walked back into the locker room and found these two girls eating each other out lol all the girls were staring & so confused nobody knew what to do lol so we just let them be lmao the girls always have orgies in the locker room while everything on the floor is PG mostly 🤣🤣🤣 Also, I’ve seen so many weird things, like this one girls entire family came in to cheer her on while she did pole tricks on the stage including her dad lmao but I’ve met and hung out with a lot of celebrities that come in.

@Kamryn🇲🇽 No, I’m not talking about the patients I’m referring to the coworker drama haha

I worked in daycare there were a lot of people who didn’t clean properly so sickness would spread like mad. A girl refused to wash her hands between every diaper change then wondered why they all ended up with a yeast diaper rash. One girl brought alcohol in a cup but when the owners were told they “couldn’t prove it” and did nothing even though the director could smell it. People bragged about knock out bottles without parent knowledge and not following safe sleep which I reported both times and nothing was done. I was written up for a child running out the door to a fenced pathway, then to the fenced playground where another teacher was (totally 45 seconds before I could get to her) but was later told by the director who was mad at the owners that they covered up a student being left in the classroom for 30 minutes unattended with no consequences other than a long talking to. This is why I’m a sahm

@Tessa shit like this is part of why I’m a SAHM too. I know so many people with kids in daycare saying “oh our is a wonderful place! They really care about the kids they’d never do anything like that!!” And yes you THINK that, but you honestly, truly have no idea. And 90% I’ll take care workers are poorly trained, and they are all paid like shit. The likelihood that stuff is going on in your Daycare at least periodically, that you would pull your kids out if you saw, is pretty high . I was a nanny, and we got paid significantly more, and obviously had fewer kids to work with usually had more of a relationship with parents, and still the stuff that I saw at the playground and out with other nannies, especially au pairs, made me pretty proud of my nannying skills lol AND very firm on SAHMing with my kids

@Trish The crazy thing is the one I worked at is one of the highest rated, most recommended in town, and they have multiple cameras in every room. There are some amazing teachers that would do absolutely anything for their kids but then there were some who didn’t give a shit about anything. They resorted to hiring high school students who didn’t need training or background checks because the were “shadowing” when really they were in charge just as much as the teachers were. I took months to figure out if I was gonna stay or go. I went in the day before my induction to quit, and I sat in my hospital bed hooked up to Pitocin, crying for my kids because I wasn’t sure who their teacher was going to be. I knew who my daughter‘s teachers would be and there was no way I was ok with it because they were the 2 I reported

@Tessa Damn that’s bad!! What’s a knock out bottle? And what were they doing if they weren’t following safe sleep recommendations? How were the kids sleeping?

@Trish Damn, what did you see out at the playground with the other Nannie’s? And what’s an “au pair”?

A knockout bottle is a bottle with cereal in it, which should not be given unless recommended by the doctor. We did have a couple kids that had that because of reflux, but someone donated cereal because their child couldn’t eat it, and the teacher decided she was gonna add cereal to all the kids’ bottles to get them to take a longer nap. The requirement was to never put a blanket in the crib with a child under 13 months and a couple would cover the kids completely because that was the only way they could sleep. One girl laid a six week old infant on their stomach (which we were told we’d be fired for) that was the one who was bragging about it

@Tessa Damn, I’d be too scared something would happen to the kids and then go to prison for a mistake 😬 I guess some ppl don’t think about that too other than if something happens to the kids sheesh!

Right!! It’s literally children’s lives! My room ran tip top and I’d call them out if things weren’t done perfectly. The only rule I broke was holding babies for their naps because they wouldn’t sleep following safe sleep rules lol

Lmaaoo well damn!! That's a strong family unit right there!!
