Yeah both my kids. Have you booked an appointment with a GP? I have been prescribed an antibacterial emollient and using dead see salt in her bath water. Eczema treatment was different for my son, so i would advise to check with a GP ,it can also be due to allergies. Whatever you try, patch test also.
@Marie🩵🩷💚 yeah I’ve been the doctors 3 times and been prescribed all sorts, she’s just crying in pain with it though x
Oh poor thing, what do you use to bath her? Our dermatologist advised us to us a soap free product like QV baby and the QV bath oil, then use an emollient like Epaderm or Dermol. Keep the skin moisturise..
It's not easy to find what's work for your baby but you'll get there
so sorry I don’t have any advice but could you tell me where this bath is from please? x
Oh bless your little one, that looks so sore. My daughter suffered when she was a baby, we used bags of oats in the bath water to help as a natural inflammatory. The doc would prescribe paraffin creams too. Xx
We're going through this at the moment
My first was like this. I tried EVERY dermatological brand of soap, multiple steroids treatment and nothing helped until a paediatric dermatologist recommended Johnson’s soap, yes the basic one (the yellow or orange only), and OH my goddess, his and mine lives changed. He’s been eczema-free for two years
@Ana oh my goodness really she’s been prescribed bath ointments, steroid creams, antibiotic cream, moisturising cream but she cries at everything & I feel everything is irritating it more xx
@katie It’s the Nuby Newborn Baby Bath xx
@Gemma Thank you, everything the doctors prescribed seem to be irritating her more 😩 xx
@Nicky Heartbreaking isn’t it xx
Yes! Do the treatments they recommend, and try switching to that soap for the long term, and hopefully the flare-ups will decrease.
@Ana Thank you xx
@Ellisha we've had lots of crying
My little girls was due to a dairy and soy allergy and cleared up when i cut them out of my diet
