My baby is turning one and still has no interest in food, he will eat things handed to him like crisps , rusks, carrots but not an actual meal? What should I do? Feel like the worst mum

@Tess the Ella’s kitchen ones
You’re definitely not the worst mum! Just keep trying different flavours and textures! I have a book called what mummy makes and I like to experiment with lots of different recipes. Some work and some don’t, don’t give up; they’ll all eat eventually!
@Tess thank you so much for that x
Mine isn't good with savoury meals either, seems to love sweet things like pancakes and fruit, but not meals. If he likes finger food, have you tried pastry pinwheels? I recently made some and they've gone down well, if you throw some veggies in there you can make them quite nutritious
Please can I ask how much and how often your LO is drinking milk? I don’t know if it will be the same but my LO didn’t really take to solids whilst he was having milk on demand. Once I put him on a schedule to ensure he had enough time to develop a hunger for foods I found he took to it so much better
My boy is similar, he has an interest in food but barely eats any and spits most of it out!
@Cherrelle I will try this thank you!
@Hannah he has 3 bottles a day two 7 ounces and one 4 for his nap
