Learn more about our guidelines. No, I’m sorry my husband supported me 100%. We had some judgmental friends and family members, though that was hard.
My boyfriend tells me to go back to smoking like I used to or at all but I haven’t started back up yet because I’m so damn tired all the time and don’t want that to make me more sleepy
i do wonder, is there any reason to be worried about smoking while breastfeeding? like is there any possible issues? i feel like i’ve never gotten a straight answer for it
no my man encouraged me to for my ppd
There isn’t data on it because you can’t ethically run those studies. Tell group A no cannabis. Tell group B they have to smoke. That’s how the scientific process works, so it’s not feasible IRL from a bioethics standpoint. I chose to wait because science couldn’t tell me for certain it was okay.
@Sierra yes that’s how it started, his grandma had something to say 🙄
@destani noel honestly there is no straight answer, like someone said above there is really no research on it. I weighed the pros and cons and chose to because I felt it was best but some people are still living in the stone ages and are judgmental asf 😒
@Ashley I don’t think they’ll ever say smoking while breastfeeding is ok but just like with vaccines, food choices etc, there will always be some who agree and some who don’t 🤷🏾♀️
@Sara love that for you ❤️
@Sierra love that for you ❤️
My husband asked me not to and I respected that because why expose my baby to drugs?
@destani noel there’s a theory that nicotine from cigarettes or thc from weed goes into the breast milk but only a small percentage but the effects are worse for the nicotine
I’m more worried about the smoke than the thc.
I usually just smoke a cart. And flower after my little one goes to bed or right before I shower.
It’s definitely helped with my postpartum depression and anxiety. And helps me fall asleep faster so I can sleep when she sleeps and not lay there for hours trying to fall asleep.
My partners let me make the decision. Didn’t push me to smoke again or talk me out of it.
