Learn more about our guidelines.I would love to know.. my baby only does long contact naps during the day. He will take short naps alone.
My girl loves to have her arms up, so we bought the love to dream swaddle and it’s been a game changer!
@Ashley same with me and it’s just hard to get anything done let alone eat 😂
@Carolyn I’m pretty sure we bought that and she hated it !
We have the snoo (Facebook marketplace always has them for good deals, ours was like 300$!)
And he naps 30 mins -2 hours
@Erin she will sleep better in her bassinet but I’ve been trying her crib . I’m not sure if she’s just still to small and she is only about 9 pounds to .
Me and my girl hang out in the living room all day so she naps on the couch with me right here. I’ve never swaddled her for naps but always for bed time. She also had been getting her arms out at night so I’m thinking it may be time to start switching to a sleep sack or something
I think i just got lucky 😭😭 idk how I get her to nap but she does. It just varies how long the nap will be
I’m just about to give up on them since when she sleeps on me we get around 2 hours
Sometimes my baby wakes up after 30 minutes and I will offer her more nap by rocking her more, sometimes it’ll give us an extra hour. Also I don’t go and get her until she calls out for me. Sometimes she wakes up and is looking around and then will fall back asleep. I made the mistake of running to get my son if he was up but I think I was disrupting his cycles.
@Kelsey how long do you normally wait
It just depends, if she’s yawning and looking around I let her stay in there because she will fall back asleep, but if she’s consistently upset I go get her. I think if she had her eyes open for 7+ minutes I’d go get her but I’d only let her stay in there if she’s chill. I don’t let her cry it out,
Are you putting babies in cribs awake or asleep for naps?
@Kaylee I have tried both
My baby does 20-30 minutes in the bassinet. His longer naps are contact naps or naps next to me on the couch. Those last about 1.5 hrs. I can usually sneak away when he sleeps on the couch to (very quietly) do some chores around the house.
