To spit at someone is hella degrading and kid has some major issues probably reflecting from crap parenting at home as well. But definitely what Day said, I tell my kids to avoid altercations but when needed and provoked I/dad will never be mad or upset about any of it especially if they tried to avoid it the first time around. Had it been the other way around I can almost guarantee boys parent/s would be upset about it as well and cause all kinds of hell. Don’t let these teachers or principals try to scare or intimidate you with BS suspension because I sure would be demanding a sit down with the parents and even then schools don’t actually want that happening so I’d be demanding the boy get suspended because why should your daughter have to face consequences for standing up for herself, also request that this be recorded in case further issues keep occurring and you can always reach out to the superintendents which usually gets schools/principals taking action.
We have had way too many encounters that should have been avoided or better handled when it comes to these types of situations and dealing with bullies. We learned speaking up for our kids and not letting shit slide was the best for us in any situation so things like this don’t happen again and the right party gets the appropriate action or consequences.
Preach!!!!! I couldn't had said that better myself !!!!
