Opinions on Joie travel systems?

Can I get some honest opinions on Joie travel systems (prams/car seats) I had my heart set on a Joie 360 spin but after some research I can’t attach it to the pram frame if needed which has put me off so back to looking, I know I want a car seat with Isofix & I’ve come across the Joie Versatrax E Trio i-Snug Travel System which is looking top of my list now but wanting opinions before investing! TIA x

Hey, I got the Joie finiti travel system and love it…comes with car seat, isofix base, carry cot and stroller so it’s suitable for any type of travel. Very easy to use, fold and push x

I have the versatrax with my first son (he’s 3 in July) loved it when he was in the carrycot and but ever since he’s got bigger and in the normal seat unit it’s awful, so bulky and really struggle to move it around. I’m pregnant with baby number 2 now due next month and I’ve got a new travel system instead as I don’t want to use the Joie again

@Shannon oh no that’s a shame to hear! What are you looking at getting instead?x

We have the litetrax pro 3 in 1 compact stroller and the baby sprint i-size cat seat. And we love them. You can use the car seat in any car and you don't need a base, it just clips in (I think it's called isofix). And with adapters, which were easy to get, it clips into the stroller. I would definitely recommend them tbh

@Courtney-Louise we’ve got a mamas and papas flip xt3 this time round. I’ve heard a lot of people like and recommend them, maybe we was unlucky with my son being a big lad. It’s meant to last till 4 and we’ve got no chance of that.

Most spin seats aren’t actually suitable ‘from birth’ like marketed. You won’t get a safe fit for baby in a 360 until usually 4-6 months old. The i-snug is an i-size carrier and it’s one of the smallest infant carriers (with a non-removable head inserts), most babies will outgrow it way before 12 months. It also isn’t the most supportive and babies can be quite chin to chest which you want to avoid for airway protection

You’re best off just picking a pram you like and then a separate car seat which is better safety rated. Many can attach with universal adapters - although baby shouldn’t be in a car seat for any longer than necessary so it’s not overly recommended to keep using it on the pram although appreciate it’s handy for appointments etc. Many decent infant carriers can last 12-18months before needing to upgrade to an ERF Swedish plus tested seat. @Rebecca shocking that most are advertised as safe from birth! We have decided to just get a bundle set with a car seat that will work until she’s about 12 months then look into a 360 one, thank you for all your advice it’s been a great help!x
