Plan B while Breastfeeding?
My husband and I finally did the deed last night for the first time since my son was born. And the condom BROKE! I am almost 4 months PP, still exclusively breastfeeding, and haven't gotten my period yet. I read that I can still get pregnant. I am not physically or mentally ready to be pregnant again. I've never taken Plan B before, but I'm considering it. Has anyone experienced side effects from Plan B? Or taken it while breastfeeding?

I would consult a doctor.
I took it, and I was told to pump and dump I also exclusively breast-feed. I just use my freezer stash.

Plan B is safe for breastfeeding. It’s most effective taken early, so go to the pharmacy right now and get it. You can talk to the pharmacist about any concerns. Don’t wait for an appointment. There are some doctors who recommend to pump and dump because they’re too lazy to look up whether something is safe, the pharmacist can confirm for you that plan B is safe and no need to pump and dump

I took one about a week ago and for a few days after I spotted. I’m also breastfeeding and it doesn’t seem to have affected baby at all.
