@Ary she got it from falling it happened few mins ago
Any falls, bumps, scrapes to the head straight to the hospital for precaution. If she isn’t vomiting, feeling unwell & seems ok, it won’t be anything to worry about but always best to be safe 🫶🏻
@Tiggy’s Mummy aww no okay going right now I hope she’s okay 😥😥😥🫶🏻
She seems fine, bless her what a trooper! But I do recommend hospital simply because we can’t take risks with our little babes 🥺
If you put some butter on her bump now, it’ll stop it from leaving a mark (trialled & tested with my little hurricane boy) 🫶🏻
I’d personally go see your GP then going to hospital. If she is alert, calmed down, isn’t drowsy nor vomiting they will liking recommend close monitoring at home. Unfortunately children have accidents and it looks like a red mark on the photos then a big bump to her head x
@Tiggy’s Mummy ped is open should I do ped first ? Our hospital 40 min away and the waiting time is over 5-8 hours just to see someone our health care is really bad atm and hospital over crowded
@Jess think there’s a little bump but not sure the red is going away at least
@Jess im in Canada is there anything like this ??
Have you applied anything cold to the head? Like a cold compress or ice? If you haven’t then I would suggest that to help with any bruising or swelling. Your little one has accepted a bottle which is an amazing sign to see! Feel free to message me if you’d like to x
I’d call your Accident & Emergency (not too sure what it’s called in Canada, 911?) & they’ll most likely send paramedics to check out little one at home. Hopefully it’s nothing to worry about!
@Tiggy’s Mummy yes we have 911 for emergencies and ambulance and we have 811 wich is a nurse line to ask questions if worth going to hospital
Update : she’s fine 🤣🤦🏻♀️ they came to our house told her she’s a strong girl she giggles 🤣🥲 more scared than hurt but we have to monitor the next 24h
My two week old fell off the sofa so I took her to hospital. She was fine nothing happened to her because the height wasn’t major. Anything over 3 feet you have to take it to hospital?. Also you need to keep an eye on them if they feel too sleepy and can’t stay awake you need to take them to hospital. For any usual sign of bruising..
@Pat yes I spoke to the nurse line as well. They said they weren’t concerned because she’s playing she’s eating doing her usual she said she might have a little bruise because she fell but as long as the bruising is it under the eyes and as long as she’s not lethargic or start vomiting or not her usual self, she will be fine.
After speaking with her pediatrician, we decided to go to the hospital to make sure everything was OK and she is indeed fine just a little bump on her head. She might have bruising a little bit but other than that she is fine. Babies are stronger than we think.
