Travel systems/prams

Hi I'm going to be a first time mum in August the pram my mum was getting me has been recalled and now I'm stuck as to which one to get. The budget is 500-600 and ideally needs to have good wheels as I will be walking mainly but also needs a good car seat for short journeys (I do not drive but some family members do). Any recommendations please 🙏🙏 my heads feelings absolutely scrambled right now pls helppp

I have the Uppa baby stroller and car seat. It’s pretty pricey brand new but you can find it used within your budget. I love mine!

I use puggle 3 in 1 travel system, I think we paid £310

If you're worried about car seat safety, I'd join a car seat group to check if the seat is safe before purchasing as 80% of seats that come with travel systems aren't actually very good ❤️

I bought my travel system second hand and then bought a Joie car seat and adaptors so it would fit onto the chassis xx

Ickle bubba do some good travel systems that would fit your budget!

Mamas and papas ocarro system. I got ours through Emma’s diary for £699 I think

@Lily do u find it heavy? I’ve been looking at this one but heard a lot of people say its very heavy x

@Olivia yes it’s very heavy and quite bulky. Ideal if you don’t need to carry it up stairs and takes up a lot of boot space unless you have a bigger car. I lived in a flat and it was a mare getting it up and down. The pros outweighed the cons for me though x

I have a cosatto. I got it all second hand and I love it

@Michelle Can I ask which one u got please? I was looking at the cosatto giggle 4 but had seen some comments that the car seat isn’t very good x

I got the Joie Versatrax bundle from the Nursery Store (previously online4baby). I have walked everywhere with this pram and it's still going strong. On my 2nd baby now and she's taken over the pram whilst my toddler walks everywhere.

@Jamie is this pram heavy? Does it fold compact?

I second the Joie Versatrax but I bought a different carseat for 2nd baby (Avionaut cosmo) as the Joie ilevel was so heavy!

@Ashleigh🤍 do you find it heavy? We're looking at this one but went to Mamas and Papas today and it's about 14.8kg looking online compared to the 11 - 13kg ones we tried so just worried it will be really heavy once babe is added in to get it on and off public transport etc? 😊

@EvaD no it’s honestly lightweight and so easy to put up and down and I use public transport and so easy I honestly love it
