Aldi nappies definitely. I like the chocolate Oaties (hobnob) biscuits too

Ooh so many things, I love Aldi. But one of my favs is the specially selected French butter with the sea salt crystals.

@Kee ooh that sounds lovely, will keep an eye out!

Aldi's whole charcuterie section! My favorite for impressing guests at a low cost (the stuffed olives are always a party hit!)

So many things haha. Skincare, pasta sauces, fake lurpak, the chocolate buttons with caramel inside, frozen food, flavoured ciders

Lidl cookies, they beat Maryland cookies

@Harriet yes they’re so much more chocolatey like Maryland used to be

The Aldi wagon wheels are so much nicer than the real ones, the Nordpak butter oh and the white chocolate ballycastle (baileys) is beautiful 😍

@FairyMother 🦖🌸 good shout, super simple but looks fancy! I love the sunblush tomatoes with garlic from Lidl with charcuterie too 👌🏽

@Charmaine I’ve not tried either of those, thought the white chocolate might be super sweet? But like the normal Ballycastle. Do prefer baileys but it’s way better value 🙌🏽

Not branded stuff really but overall…I’m a big fan of Aldi’s meat! Think it’s much better quality than named supermarket stuff and usually for a fraction of the cost. Also their fresh fruit and veg lasts longer, again for cheaper cost (only stipulation would be their bagged leafy salads, they wilt within a day!). Also Aldi’s fresh flowers last a lot longer than Morrisons florists for example. Aldi wine as well…chicken wine for £3 less…hello 👀

@Megan yeah the face creams always seem to rate highly. Bought one the other day and hope it can work its magic!

@Sorrel it’s so good I prefer baileys to ballycastle but the white chocolate one is amazing it’s not overly sweet like you’d expect it to be it’s more creamy if that makes sense 😅 only downside is they only seem to have it around Xmas

Baked beans are better than branded and I love the chocolate oaties

@Lizzie yes agree on the 🐓 wine, fruit and veg and bagged salads! Weird how they’re rubbish compared to other fresh stuff. Meat I find mostly good but not loving the recent vac packed mince, just not the same at all!

@Charmaine ooh that does sound good, I’ll have to give it a try! Christmas seems to start in about September now so not too long to wait 😅

@Naomi defo prefer cheaper beans, don’t rate Heinz at all. I think there’s a bit too much sauce sometimes but can’t really complain for the price!

@Sorrel weird isn’t it! I don’t buy a lot of mince so can’t speak to that but their chicken sausages are next to none, as well as their cheese options too 👌🏼 another stipulation I have is their bread. We buy warburtons farmhouse and their competitor just doesn’t match! Their wraps, crumpets and part baked stuff is lush but a loaf of white just isn’t the same 😂

Can’t beat Lidl’s nappies !

@Lizzie lol that’s funny the bread isn’t quite a swap for me either. We usually get either whole grain/ seeded and find their version quite dry and firm. I prefer Warburtons crumpets and New York seeded bagels, I think I must be a bread snob 🙈 But I do like their pitta, part-baked and brioche 👍🏽

@Niamh I’ve always been an Aldi fan but I’ve heard good things!

Aldi white bread is soo nice! Nicer than all the expensive brands I think

@Sorrel personally found that aldis nappies didn’t hold up we had constant blow outs with them, switched to lidles and it’s been a breeze since

@Niamh ah no way, I always found them really good. Maybe different brands just fit babies differently!

@Sorrel they sell the warburtons crumpets 👏🏼 for 20p or so cheaper than supermarkets 🤣 it’s all preference I think. My mum for example will eat sup par food because it was X amount cheaper and be happy with it 😅 I shop between Aldi and Morrisons and rarely go elsewhere!

Aldi’s pain au chocolat. I love them. My husband always tells me they’re not that great but I’ll eat the whole damn thing in like 2 days.

Aldi nappies

Pretty much all of their cereals I think are better than the name brands.

Aldi Doritos are like half the price if not lower and dye free

Greek yogurt, pasta sauce, grains and legumes pouches.

Everything 😂 well mostly, we are just paying for the brands in other shops, fully converted to only going aldi or lidl for big shops now, and i can say I find all there stuff the same or better than the more pricier brands

@Kailey loads of the time it seems like it’s the same product in different packaging! I saw a show about it before, I think McVities for example make some Aldi biscuits

Oooh that bread in the brown paper packaging, the tiger one. Is like actual drugs. Especially toasted with the aforementioned butter. Best bread ion any supermarket existence.
