My wee one hasn’t got teeth yet but his gums are super hard. Recently his latch for feeding has become smaller and it’s becoming quite sore when he’s feeding. I think if it continues I’m not going to be able to last much longer. Has anyone else experiencing this? Anything I can do about the latch?

My nipples feel like they’re about to literally fall off! My LO does not take a pacifier, so he uses mine to soothe and his latch is super shallow as well. I’ve been applying nipple cream but only when I remember to do so.
I’m not sure how much longer I’ll last but right now, it’s the only way to get him calm or asleep 💀
Never thought it could be to soothe his teeth but makes sense! Will try the teething gel before feeds and get the nipple cream on too! 👍🏻
