I had norovirus a few weeks ago at 27 weeks and it was absolutely awful, I spoke to a GP at 111 who just said to sip fluids and eat dry and bland foods if I could keep them down, I think I managed 4 crackers in 24 hours 🙈, and to just ride it out. As long as you can keep fluids down I wouldn't worry about baby for now and hopefully you'll start to feel better within a day or two xx

Hey! 31 weeks 3 days and I'm currently sick. I've had it before in December when I was 10 weeks and it hits hard! Cold/Flu like symptoms but feel so much worse cause I can't take anything for it. All I can say is plenty of rest (usually 1 week), plenty of water, Lemon/Honey & hot water helps, Orange Juice for vitamin C and lots of food to keep yours and babies energy up but small portions, little and often. Also, use Paracetamol if needed. I try to only take 1x in the morning and 1x before bed. This is what I've been doing for the last 3 days and I still feel rough but I can feel myself getting better but it's just slow. If you don't feel yourself getting better or feel like you can't cope with symptoms then GP is your best advice, they can advise of any pregnancy friendly medications.

@Tara thank you so much for this! I will give all of the above a go! Fingers crossed ! Im going away at the weekend so I want to feel normal! 😭

@Chaya thanks so much lovely. I had norovirus around Christmas time for about two weeks and it was the worst thing in the world. This is nothing compared to that but still really rubbish. Just can’t shake this queasy sick feeling away! I’ve managed to have fruit snacks and lots of water so I’m hoping tomorrow I’ll feel better ! Xx
