How long do you keep baby upright after a feed

My 6 week old will nurse for 15 minutes then burp reasonably easy. But then I still have to hold her upright or on my tummy for 15 to 45 minutes because as soon as I lay her flat, she will start getting uncomfortable and then spit up milk. I was wondering how long do you lot keep the baby in your arms after a feed?

30 to 45 minutes but my little girl still ends up puking once i put her down x

Yes I had to do the same with my son when he was a new born he eventually grew out of it. I also would lay him on his right side so if he spat up in his sleep it would just spill out. Probably not the best advice but I didn’t know any other way to get sleep at the time

When he was 6 weeks it was 30+ minutes. Now he's 12 weeks it's 10-15 minutes. It's slowly getting better x

Similar to Emma, 30 mins then 20 mins and now at 4 months I do about 15 mins
