Baby carriers

What age did you find it OK to start putting your baby in a baby carrier? My little one is only just 9lb at 8 weeks and the carrier says it can be used from 7lb but I feel she's still very small...

I waited until she was 5 kg ( mine is 5 weeks), but she was a bigger baby ☺️ and I still think she is small

I used the wrap from birth 🤷‍♀️

I used the wrap from birth and the carrier from a few weeks old. I didn’t use a wrap with my first but it’s been a game changer this time and he is so content x

I put my baby in baby carrier at 2 weeks old. Yes I know he was too small for it but I made sure his head was turned and he was able to breathe correctly. It was during cold season and we were on the pier to see my husband get home from deployment after a year being gone and him in a carrier was easier for me to keep him nice and toasty and covered completely and comfortably without having to fuss with a stroller.

I have two carriers, one from 7lb and one from 8lb, as long as you follow the TICKS rule it should be fine!

I’ve been using my carrier since birth (7 lbs and a half)

I’ve been using a wrap since birth and I’m still using it now. My baby is also 9lb and the wrap is still very comfortable.

There are sling libraries you can go too and a baby wearing fb group you can submit photos too, to have your fit checked

Baby was in a sling / wrap from birth and had been in a more structured carrier for the past couple of weeks. He’s 10 weeks old and a big baby! He was 9lbs when he was born.
