For those who lost pets before your kid were born, how do you think your lost pet(s) would have interacted with your kids?
My family had one of the naughtiest little dogs i've ever met, wouldn't trade him for the world lol
Whenever I think about how he would have reacted/interacted with my son, he'd be so jealous. Especially since his favorite human was my dad and my son loves his grandpa.
Since he was also getting there in age, he could have been alive when my son was born - he would have been 12, i'd like to think the naughtiness would simmer down and he'd be more chill.
Oh, how I miss him every day 😞

🥺I lost my dog that I've had for literally half my entire life a few months before my son was born. I was heartbroken. I know she would've loved to cuddle with him and eat all the food he throws on the floor and lick his face and hands after he eats. She was a spoiled girl and I was sooo looking forward to her eating my baby. She was 14 and my first "child".
I haven't had that happen to me but having 6 pets with wildly different personalities, I think your dog would have definitely been jealous and protective of grandpa 😆. We are the only ones who know ours pets the best so im sure I would have happened the way you imagined or even better. One of my cats gets jealous when I have my daughter and vice versa it's adorably annoying 😂
