Is my toddler ready to potty train?
My toddler was 2 beginning of April. He often says poo when he's done a poo.
This morning he walked to the potty, tried to pull his trousers / nappy down so I helped him and then he did a wee on the potty.
Do you think he's ready for me to start potty training?

I'd wait until he starts saying poo BEFORE he poos xx
Sounds like the perfect time. He's already understanding when he needs to go and that he needs to get to the potty!

Definitely! My toddler (born in March 2023) was telling us the same after doing a poo, and he used to want to sit on the potty before his bath! We tried potty training just over 3 weeks ago, went completely cold turkey with nappies and put him in pants and he’s been fully potty trained now for nearly 2 weeks, caught on very quick. Xx
