Thank you for the reassurance? He's currently had 1 half weetabix with half a toast and now half a banana. He is very tall and very active
Mine is the same, he eats more than my toddler some days. She ate as much as him at that age too. It slows down over time and just comes in spurts later. My 3 year old can eat more than a grown man some days and others just goes on one banana and fresh air x
Yes I think that’s normal - my little one is the same, after she has her meal she will come and try to eat off our plates, like she hasn’t just eaten 🤣 I think it’s more curiosity than hunger necessarily but she’s still following her centiles nicely and is very active so I’m not worried. Plus she can easily eat a whole banana along with her 1 weetabix for breakfast or as a snack at some point!
Our little boy has a great appetite this morning he's already had since 7.30ish bowl of blueberries shreddies, piece of toast, box of raisins, blueberry apple breakfast pouch, another piece of toast 😅 hell have a nap soon then lunch x
Yesterday my little boy (15months) ate 5 weetabix, a whole banana, 10 blueberries, 8 raspberries and 1 big strawberry for breakfast (he asked for more after each weetabix) and then an hour later was asking for more again 🫣😂 He’s super super active though, like non-stop running round throughout the day, bar a 1.5hr nap, and so I let him eat as much as he wants, I just ensure all meals and snacks are healthy and balanced. At this age babies are unable to override the feeling of being full and so only eat what their body needs 😊
My girl eats more than I do in a day some days! She has good appetite! Lol
My LO eats 1.5 weetabix, sometimes 2 but usually not. Then she'll eat a banana and maybe a plum or half an orange depending. Breastmilk on demand. Snack will be some sort of fruit like the other half of the orange. Lunch is usually something put out and picked at right now. Afternoon snack might be some veggie straws or a banana (she would eat an entire bunch if we let her). Then tea is served with fruit and yogurt on the side. It's definitely a little and often since turning 15 months. Like at 12 months we were definitely 3 square meals and snacks but recently it's definitely grazing now. X
My daughter is 16 months and would eat a whole banana, I think thats normal? Portion sizes for her would be 1.5 weetabix with some berries for breakfast, a banana and a yoghurt for a snack, a full baby bowl equivalent size of a hot lunch and dinner with some veg on the side, as well as something like crackers, another snack throughout the day, porridge for supper and milk before bed. She is interested in what we are having now too. They are more active now. Mine eats a lot but she is slim and on 50th centile. As long as your little one isnt sick from eating or massively jumping around with weight then all good I think
