One of the best things about the surge of AI is that it can help enhance your intelligence by explaining things in the way YOU understand it. I wonder if it would be helpful to ask ChatGPT to explain something for you and if you still don't get it, you can always ask clarifying questions or even tell it to explain it simpler. I hope it helps with learning something new and even acquiring a new skill :)
At Helen yeah I thing I might be autistic.. I work at school and things chnage all the time and I work on contants' chaos....on Friday I was working on one to one with someone and i thought it was supposed be be all day but ir turned out it was only in the morning..I had a chart on front of me yet I still got it wrong..it resulted in little boy being angry and kicking off because I didn't explain it properly to him because I misunderstood myslef! And people were looking at me like I m thick.
Before you start down the autistic diagnosis path, I would suggest a 30 day tech/social media/dopamine detox. There are amazing success stories with this. I can’t recall the actual numbers but one study out of the UK…. Had entire classrooms of kids giving up their phones for 30 days. At the end The vast majority of them decided to either give them up completely or have a “dumb phone”. Research dopamine related to cellular/social media usage. You will be shocked.
I recall a 60minutes program in like 2008 where they had 2-4 yr olds doing puzzles on a device (like an iPad) and then the same puzzles in real life. The kids did great on the device but couldn’t do the same puzzle in real life- for lack of a better word. The dopamine literally “rewires” the brain. I detoxed my teens a few years ago and for the first 3 Weeks it was literal hell. After that, they were like completely different kids. It saved our family.
Everyone’s brain works differently. It doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. Some people learn better through audio, pictures, visually, written information, seeing it etc. find out which one works for you. I explain things to people at work and they might not get it. It is my job to explain it in a way they do if I’m teaching them. Thinks like autism, adhd, dyslexia etc can effect the way people learn. Not saying you have any of these though. Good luck! Xx
