Baby daddy issues

My ex always has a reason not to have his son for the full amount he’s supposed to have him (Friday-Sunday) and any bank holidays but he always cuts it short because of silly reasons, sometimes it’s understandable but it’s starting to annoy me a lot and I can’t rely on him to have him when he says Some of the reasoning are things like, he has to help move stuff for his girlfriends parents early in the morning, he is getting carpet down or flooring in one room only and then the next week it will be the same excuse but a different room, his latest one was he was looking at a wedding venue with his now partner at 10am on a bank holiday so he couldn’t have him the extra night, sometime there is no excuse and will just say he has to drop him off at this time unless I pick him up (which he lives 30 drive away and I can’t drive and would be an hour on train and doesn’t include bus times too) He then thinks it’s okay because he is having him a full week to take him on holiday but it doesn’t make up for the time he’s missing out with his son every week 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just needed a rant 😂
