Colostrum help
I was pregnant getting colostrum and got to 5ml but the last few days im getting nothing and trying 3 times a day like suggested.
I've used an electric pump and hand expressed. What's wrong with me?

Definitely nothing wrong with you. Try not to stress. With my first baby I tried both expressing with a hospital pump and hand expressing but didn’t have anything until he was 3/4 days old. X
Mine also stopped after a few days so I had a break and started again. The next time I tried I got double the amount to before and now I’m getting maybe 1ml after an hour of hand expressing. I wonder if I should drink more or try to pump.. 🤔 But still happy I’m getting even that 1ml a night.
I had a seizure on Monday and was in triage delivery then a ward got 2 days so wonder if that is part of it. Im glad im not the only one as this didnt happen in my last pregnancy. Thanks ladies. I drink lots of water maybe stress xx

I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with you. I got some colostrum, then it stopped and I couldn’t for a while. I actually got my partner to help me with the hand expressing after to see if that helped and it did work. Not sure if it’s because I was relaxed, or the endorphins or a mix of the two but might be an idea as it was just one way of me trying to get him involved and he actually found it amazing to see the colostrum too.
