Need Opinions!

Our 3 month old baby contracted some sort of cold while at daycare- stuffy nose and a cough. My husband and I are supposed to go to a wedding today and my parents are going to watch her for a few hours while we’re gone. Is it irresponsible for me to drop her off at their house while she’s a little sick? This is the first time she’s gotten sick and was told by the pediatrician to just let it run its course unless it appears to be getting worse. The cough isn’t constant, but she does have some occasional noisy breathing from the stuffiness. No fevers though. Just wondering if we should be cancelling plans or not.
