Trouble eating

My 3 month old has been weird about taking bottles lately. She’ll be showing hunger cues it will be bottle time and when I give her the bottle she latches she’ll start to drink for a second and then she’ll start crying and trying to sit up or turn her head. After like half an hour of fussing and gnawing at her hand she’ll end up taking the bottle

Could be teething!

I was thinking that but her gums are still soft

My babygirl had an issue with taking the bottle all of a sudden a couple weeks ago too. My Dr said it may be to due to the follow of the nipple bc babies become more efficient eaters as they get older so she recommended going up a size on the nipple from size 1 to size 2. I bf and have a faster let down as well. Now we don’t have any problems. Could be this in combo with teething. I hope this helps! Also babies get distracted easily during this time try feeding in a dark quiet room my dr recommended.

Our son has been playing with the bottle more & at times doesn’t drink more than 1-2 ounces at a time. Then he’ll keep turning his head like he doesn’t want it anymore. Then at other feedings he’s downing 5-6 ounces. No idea what is going on. Maybe teething is around the corner.
