Absolutely not. It's more important that baby has a happy and healthy mummy. If your mental health is declining due to the pressures of pumping, I would suggest stopping. Are you feeding from the breast as well or just pumping to feed? I BF my son but could never pump and it honestly really knocked my confidence. However, he fed amazing from the boob for over 2 years

Not at all as a exclusively pumping mum I feel you pain when it comes to blocked ducts and mastitis are the worse thing I have ever had to deal with. How old is your little one? Your health is just as important as babies xx

@Lucy hi Lucy due to his lip and slight gum notch he will get tired so I’m purely pumping to feed from a bottle. I’m just finding it so hard to find time and also with the pain it’s killing me x

@Sharna my little one is 1 month tomorrow! X

The first few months are always the hardest I've found this both times round. Both my kids were exclusively fed pumped milk as both had trouble with latching. It does get easier as you both find a routine. Do you have a hands free pump as I switch to one when my son was born as a newborn and toddler and finding time to sit for 30-60 minutes was mental i never had time to get anything done, and that made things easier with multi tasking. You are doing great for just trying to breast feed do not feel bad about stopping. My advise thought don't just stop as that will back the blockage worse you need to slowly ease out longer pumps or get something off the doctors to stop your milk xx

@Sharna Thankyou for your advice I really appreciate it x
