It’s pretty normal for babies to make so much noise while they sleep, usually active sleep. It’s recommended for them to stay in your room for 6 months as it’s reduces the risk of SIDS. Not only that but to help baby build a secure attachment to parent. Even with them in own bedroom you’ll still not get much sleep, my 15 month old still wakes up regularly in the night, it’s unfortunately in the price of being a parent xx
I'm a light sleeper too and couldn't wait to get my first lo into her own room, we moved her at 5.5 months. Will probably wait until around 6 months with my little boy too. It's frustrating but apparently it really does reduce the risk of SIDS so for me it's worth it just in case! Also once my daughter was in her room she slept so much better and was sleeping through around 7 months, now 19 months and still sleeping through so in my experience you will get your sleep again 😊
Could you get a sound machine to drown out some of the noise? This is what we will be doing
Following! My 5 week old LB is doing the same, first time mum little worried about putting him in his own room yet.. don’t feel guilty though whatever works for you and your LO xx
