Help please. What was in the bag?

At first glance it does appear to be so. But it can be a bag of anything hun I’m sorry 😔

What did he say it was?? What’s worrying is if it was easy for you to find, what’s stopping your son from finding something like this too?

I mean all sorts of things can come in those tiny bags, but there does appear to be some white residue? No way to really know for sure. Perhaps if it was cocaine or another drug, there’s the chance it was a friends? But regardless of who’s it was, if it was drugs then like the other comment mentions, shouldn’t be laying around where a child goes even if it’s just a slight residue, or what if it’s more than just a residue if there’s a next time? But again, who knows, maybe it was just some extra screws or bolts or buttons or anything really.

So, I will say that car part places use these little bags, as well as they can come with shirts for the extra button. And I’m sure there’s other things they’re used for. BUT yes, they also are typically used for coke. Is there any residue in it though? Unless he’s licking the bag clean (literally) there would most likely be some left visibly. Knowledge from uh… a much younger me. 😂

Could be from different types of drug. Or something innocent like a spare button for a shirt or polo.

I wouldn't say there's been cocaine in there personally. Possibly other drugs or possibly completely innocent like a little nail or a button

Is there white residue? Sort of hard to tell from the pic. Does he have his ears pierced? I’ve had earrings come in those baggies before when I’ve ordered them online haha.

Both of my bio parents were coke addicts and I have to say that looks exactly like the baggies I saw around the house now that doesn’t mean that’s definitely what it is but definitely keep a closer eye out watch the pupils they can be your biggest giveaway

There's no residue I doubt it was drugs. Could be a little bag from anything. I've had screw, buttons and all sorts come in these little bags. Have you had any flat pack furniture? They are easily lost under something when you've taken screws, dowls etc out of them

I have no idea when it comes to drugs so I can't offer any help there but if he says it's not coke, can he explain what it is from?

The fact it looks kinda cloudy says to me it contained a powder, so I'd say yes. 🤷‍♀️

I’d say smell it (not snort) if has a gasoline like smell then there’s your answer. Cars, tools, and even tiny gun parts use these baggies. I know because my military husband always has them laying around and I collect them for little hair clips and tiny rubber bands lol. It’s really hard to say. Is there any white powder residue in the bottom corner of the baggie?

Op has results? Sorry, I only followed and didn’t write anything because I’m clueless and I have never seen drugs in my life so I wouldn’t know what it looks like. Also because the news always blur them out and I don’t ever see what they really look like

Thank you so much everybody 😊 I didn't taste it as I popped it in the bin after confronting him. I did smell it though and it didn't smell of anything. He's adamant it's not but I struggle to believe him x
