Ear infection
How do you actually know if baby has an ear infection as my LO is pulling on his ear a lot and cries when I put him down to change his nappy.i read that these are signs but don't know actually know if it's a sign of an ear infection as he's been doing it for a while and it's not consistent some days are worse than others like today. He's been crying constantly for no apparent reason but has been pulling and playing with his ear a lot

You won’t know unless the dr has a look but pulling at ears can be a sign.
Could be teething.
My LG is teething now, she hates me putting her flat on her back for a nappy change and does pull at her ear occasionally....she sleeps on her side now too. We have four top teeth coming through together!
Ear pulling can also be a sign of teething. Has he got a temperature ? That’s usually the first sign of an infection. Can always book a GP appointment to be sure and they’ll check him over
