Breastmilk stress

I'm expressing breastmilk into bottles as my baby wasn't taking to the boob. The last few days my supply has reduced a fair bit and I can't keep up with the quantity baby needs. It's getting me down as I don't know why my body is struggling to make enough like it has been doing for the last 6 weeks. I'm definitely not hydrated as I'm drinking 3-4 litres of water per day, and I'm expressing every few hours. Does anyone have any tips to increase my supply, or know what might be causing my supply to be reduced? Thanks in advance

It could be due to the fact baby is no longer latching? Hormones, diet I would speak with your health visitor xx

Power pump once a day, it should help :)

Try plenty of skin to skin, pumping doesn't quite have the same affect as when baby is latched but having baby on you can help with that. Also check the flange size on your pump fits you right. I tried giving pumped milk instead of formula and found this same issue in the first few days, I researched everything. Try eating oats, stay hydrated, skin to skin and pump wheb baby feeds to mimic the same schedule. I got more milk using a wearable electric pump than I did the hand held type. Xx
