Monitors

TW: referense to SIDS What monitors are people using that track breathing? My little one is about to go in to her own room. We have been using owlet but recently she has been trying to kick it off and it's preventing her from settling to sleep. I can not put her in her own room without something to alert me to something going wrong. We lost my brother to SIDS and the anxiety is never going to leave me (I think once she gets passed his age I will settle). Just looking for an alternative to owlet that isn't going to upset her.

I’m so sorry to hear about ur brother. I’ve not tried this yet but I am looking into Snuza HeroMD Mobile Baby Breathing Monitor. I am also interested in knowing what others r using x

really sorry to hear about your brother x i have a babysense breathing matt, it’s an alarm that goes on the side of the cot and tracks baby’s breathing /movement.. it isn’t an app for it to track oxygen ect but its very affordable and definitely settles my anxiety extremely x

@T✨ my cousin has the snuza one I've asked her what she thinks of it.

@Jenna our cot mattress says its not compatible with the mats that go on/under them. Is it one that does that? We have a camera monitor but that requires is being awake to see her. I just feel more comfortable with something that will tell me if there's a problem. Something my parent didn't have access to back then.
