Please tell me it’s just a phase!

My 3 month old has been really funny with taking the boob the last few days. She had her jabs on Wednesday and it seemed like all was fine but now she fusses and screams whenever I offer it. Last night she was up every hour, but would only feed for 5 minutes then scream at me and nothing could calm her down. Then today she’s slept loads and barely eaten (5 minute feeds again but every 2 hours) Anyone else had this or should I be worried?

My little one had his jabs on Tuesday and was fine until today. He is on formula but has hardly touched it and screamed when I’ve offered him a bottle. He’s slept most of the day too. I’m hoping this is normal and just a delayed reaction x

The jags can have effects for upto 2 weeks or some kids get a delayed reaction with them. I’d say it’s just because of the jags and should hopefully settle down within the next week or so. It’s super stressful but you will get past it… just in time for the next lot 🙃 but then it’s a big gap before the ones at a year x

Not sure how this would work with BF but my boy got his on Tuesday and was not taking the bottle. He would scream due to stomach pains. I started letting him chew/suck on my knuckle which stimulated his want for milk. I also transitioned between dummy and bottle which he’d suck on the bottle a little before releasing and I’d put in the dummy to calm him. Both have worked to an extent at getting some food into his tummy. You are not alone in the stress and anxiety it causes. I’ve been ready to take him to the GP more than once just for some reassurance but have been pushing through atm. Sending love to your momma heart.

Thank you lovely’s! It’s just awful when it feels like there’s nothing that will calm her and she’s just screaming at us 🫠 x

Omg! This is happening to my baby boy! He had his jabs last Friday and feeding him has been challenging, each time I offer the boob he cries and pushes himself away from me, after 1 min he starts rooting, so I offer again and the same happen over and over! The only way to help him to feed is by getting him sleepy and offering the boob. I am so frustrated… I don’t know if it’s due to the jabs or that he is so aware of his surroundings that he finds nursing boring? (he gets so distracted)
