Antenatal classes

Did you guys do any antenatal classes before giving birth? I’m a bit unsure if I can be bother doing evening sessions for 6 weeks . I’m knackered. Thought of watching YouTube’s and support of friends and family?

I’m currently doing the happy parents happy baby course and initially I was really regretting booking it cause of it being in the evenings but so so glad I did! We’re really enjoying it 🥰

We did Happy Parents, Happy Baby with our eldest and fully recommend it! We didn't have time or someone to watch our toddler when I was pregnant second time but I wish we'd been able to do one. It's about the friendships rather than the information!

I did the free ones recommended by the hospital, tbh I didn’t rate them it was all very wishy washy. I think the ones you pay for are a lot more worth it from what I’ve heard

We did NcT classes , I did mermummies aqua natal classes , baby academy online courses

I did centring which is like a combination of classes and regular midwife appointments, and if that’s an option for anyone, I would definitely recommend it.

The baby academy does free baby courses they are great but you can also get all info from YouTube really

We also did happy parent happy baby classes and glad we did, mostly to meet other parents (as well as learn) but most the learning we did on the free day class by NHS. I’d recommend if you want to make other new parent friends x

I did nothing. Nurses guide you through the l&d anyway, less stress for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ 2 vaginal births behind me now lol

I was too sick to attend any so we watched some professional ones on YouTube.

I went to 2 sessions that were free taster. After learning about breathing techniques how contractions work and a little bit of early days care, I was happy. But like you said it is super tiring especially after a day at work then I had to travel home quickly eat and walk the dog then go off to the group which was 7.30pm - 9pm

I’m doing the bump to baby chapter online
