@Christina🤱🏼🍂☕️♈️ I understand but like I said in the post, my partner is gone Sunday through Friday, (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) So we’re “celebrating” today.
Missed that part whoops 😬
I wanted a sweater from the new Hunger Games book. I didn't ask for it for mother's day specifically, but I did directly text it to him and tell him I want this. No packages ever came in the mail so ☹️
Mine forgot it was Mother’s Day entirely. I give him a pass because he has never forgotten a holiday before and he JUST started a new job (so he’s working three). I’m still sad though
A vacuum vs tequila is crazy
I asked for a new broom and new oven mitts lol
@Elizabeth don’t get me wrong I’m thankful I got something. But he’s the only one who gets to consume it. I now have to continue to let the house go to only vacuum once a week (we have 3 dogs and 2 kids. So I feel disgusting half the time now.) I’m happy I got something. But like, last time I drank that wasn’t a special occasion was 3 years ago.
Girl you don’t have to be grateful you got something if it’s gonna end up being for him and wasn’t even something you wanted
Mother’s Day is tomorrow for me. I’m not expecting anything because we’re broke between paychecks at the moment. I think I’ll get a bouquet of flowers or a sweet treat to wake up to. I already know my husband plans to make breakfast and dinner for me too. It’s the thought that counts over here and I’m beyond grateful for it. I’m honored everyday by my husband, even though we aren’t perfect. As a stay at home mom, I’m never able to do anything for him on Father’s Day so these holidays are usually pretty normal days for us. If we can afford it any other day of the year, he’ll spoil me as much as he can but I really don’t ask for much more than sweet treats and day trips on special weekends.
A vacuum isn’t a gift anyway that’s something needed for the house regardless. Tell him again the vacuum needs changing
Tomorrow is Mother’s Day and I’m not expecting anything personally. I didn’t ask for anything either.
