Is the momcozy portable bottle warmer worth it for expressed milk?

Had issues with baby weight and latching so he’s combi fed but only breastmilk. He takes both bottle and boob at every feed

I've found my little one prefers the milk at room temperature instead of heated up. As you have to be careful when heating it up your not killing the nutrients in it :)

@Laura he was taking the expressed milk better when using the bottle warmer in the hospital but I was more thinking for when we start going out with him tbf it might not be so bad in the summer but I was thinking of how I’m going to defrost the frozen milk 😅

I have the bottle warmer and you can set the temperature you want it heated to. It is auto set to 35 Celsius when you first turn it on. I keep it in my nappy bag as I bottle feed my little one my expressed milk when out and about, mainly for convenience. It’s handy it’s set to temperature rather than time due to me keeping my bottles in a cool bag. It’s pretty easy and straightforward to use too

I have the momcozy portable bottle warmer for my nanny to use when she’s out with the baby. If I’m with the baby I just breastfeed her so I haven’t used it much myself but it seems pretty straightforward. I like that you can set the exact temperature you want. The only thing I wish was better about it is that the base come in contact with the milk and you can’t separate it from the electric components of the bottle warmer so there’s not way to sterilize the base with steam or boiling water. Overall its worked pretty well though! We have the countertop momcozy bottle warmer too and that one had issues when we first got it and we used the portable one at home for a little while until momcozy sent us a replacement.

@Tatiana @Leanna thank you I’m just so stressed about whether or not to get one I had the tommee tippee bottle warmer for my first and it was so good until it almost caught fire 😬 I woke up to the smell of burning and the charger had melted into the back of it

Definitely I get you! Think it just depends on your preference really! Hope you find what you need. I also defrost the milk in the fridge the morning of or put it in an insulated bag so it's not warming too quickly if you get what I'm saying!
