Bed

My little girl has a toddler floor bed. She will go in it to nap but she's still in our bed to sleep at night🤦‍♀️🤣

We waited until our eldest climbed out of her cot. Got her a single bed after that x

I'm planning on transitioning him when he learns impulse control at around 3. Or if he starts climbing out of his cot. Whichever comes first!

Whenever you like, usually it’s when they can climb out of a cot on the lowest setting and so it’s unsafe to keep them in there. My eldest was in a floor bed from before this age though, and then around 18mo into a normal double.

I’m planning about 18 months to get a floor bed. So then my youngest can go in her cot: . She climbs off my bed confidently I’m just slightly worried she will roll out as she does move around a lot in her sleep so will make sure there’s also a soft rug or something in case as I have all wooden flooring 🫣

Im keeping the cot until she starts to climb out 🙈

I’ll he transitioning once we have bought our new house as there’s nowhere for me in my current house to attach a baby gate safely x

My cot changed into a toddler bed this weekend, and he's slept on the floor for an hour here and there but I don't want to disturb him, there's cushions down

I'm far too paranoid currently that she could get up in the night and get hurt, so once I have the room 101% safe then we'll probably start trialling a bed

We have done since 10 months. Whenever really as ours wouldn’t take to cot do we dismantled it and got a floor bed.
