Going to sound silly but how do you do a full food shop with a newborn 🤣 trying to work out how to have a pushchair and a trolley too

I either babywear or I put the car seat in the trolley

I’ve seen you can clip the car seat into the trolley - https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdMqYyqD/ - going to try this

I wear her in the carrier ☺️

I used to go to Sainsbury’s and put the car seat on the trolleys they have that have space for the car seat

I put the groceries in the stroller basket

Me and my other half go together, one has the baby one has the trolley ☺️ otherwise I do little shops if I am on my own and use the basket under the pram instead of a basket 🙂

Click and collect! Makes life so much easier. If we do go to a shop, usually have one of my older boys or partner with me so one has baby and one has trolley.

Honestly, the Sainsburys/Tesco scan-and-go hand scanners are a life saver for shopping with a kid. I used to push the baby in the buggy, carry a bag on one arm, then scan the products I needed + put them straight into my bag on the way round. Saves time at the checkouts and all. Totally worth it if you have a store near you that does them

Small trip - put groceries in the stroller or put car seat in the cart Big trip - baby wear But really…. Pickup orders!

Click and collect or delivery of I need a big shop, car seat in the trolley for a small one, or basket and push the pram if I’ve walked there x

Baby wear! I once walked around Target for over an hour with her on my chest

I can't drive so my husband goes and does it. If he can't due to work, I'd do an online order to be delivered

Baby wear or delivery x

I baby wear, I went the first time and thought how am I going to do this 😂

I can’t use a car seat or carrier but I push the pram with one hand and tow the trolley or basket with the other. Not ideal but it’s the only way I can do it. Don’t trust online food shopping because either they don’t want to look for the item, it’s out of stock or they pick the most rotten veggies and fruits

Scan as you go with bags under pram and cup holder to hold the scanner. I just chuck shopping straight in the bags as we go around. Husband’s idea and jt works so well! For a really big shop we just book a delivery. I’ve done many Tesco whoosh orders as well 😅

@Leeya please please please don’t do this! It’ll wreck the clip for its actual use (and isofix base!) and will compromise how safe it is in the car. I’ve heard some very expensive horror stories about this so please reconsider giving it a go in the future 💖

I do a food shop with my toddler and my newborn. I carry my newborn in a carrier and then take a trolley around😊

Babywear! Don't lose shopping cart/buggy/trolley space to the car seat!

@Lucy that’s really good to know, thank you🤍

My partner would stay home with the baby whilst I did the food shop.. it became my favourite part of the week because it was my "me time". And he also had 1:1 time with the baby as well... if that wasn't possible, I had the baby in the newborn baby seat in the trolley if it was a big shop. Smaller shops, I would use my pram clips to hook the basket whilst shopping on the pram

Baby wear, scanners to put food straight into bags, and I know my Sainsburys has the trolleys with the baby recliner which my baby likes now to have a nosey!

Home delivery 🤣

Baby car seat clicks onto the cart and you can fill the cart under the seat

I put my little girl in a baby carrier I have done since she was about 2 weeks old. She loved it and just slept the whole time

Home delivery, that's how lol

I got Everyplate delivered when he was a nb. After MIL stayed in house and cooked for me like 2m pp, after that I did ingredient delivery and just replicated their meals. I hate grocery shopping. To this day my hubby goes and gets the rest of what we need aside from meal ingredients

Baby carrier
