Baby’s head partially engaged

I’ve been 3/5 engaged since about the same time just means little ones gonna good position xx

@Kayleigh yeah my midwife said it was nothing to worry about ☺️ got another midwife in two weeks so be interesting to see if it’s changed much xx

Yess 100% it’s very exciting!!!

At 34 weeks I was 4/5 engaged and this week at 35 weeks my midwife said I'm 3/5 engaged. So i think baby is slowly getting ready to come out eeek.

Unfortunately not really a sign of anything but good position. First time babies tend to engage and stay there, second time they apparently often pop in and out of engagement. But definitely good sign head down and in right place xx

I think it all depends on baby to be honest, I went from 3/5 last Tuesday to 2/5 yesterday and I’m 35+2 - it’s my first baby too but I think that even if baby is fully engaged it doesn’t actually mean baby will come early ? I’m not certain to be honest, midwife didn’t seem concerned baby was coming early so I guess we’ll see lol

My first was the same, engaged from 35 weeks, eventually arrived at 41 weeks 🫣

I think baby engaged just means theyre head down in good position, but theyre not ready to come out yet haha

My first was engaged early but 8 days overdue so it doesn’t really mean much timing wise but is obviously good they are in the right position).

I was told today at 36 weeks baby is 4/5 and this is baby number two … I wish it was the case they could come early …but Honestly it just means they are set up but not necessarily ready to come x

In doesn’t really mean much timing wise, just that they’re getting ready. They can still pop in and out of being engaged over the next few weeks so it’s just a waiting game! My first was in and out like there was no tomorrow from about 34 weeks and never stayed in the same position. I had her at 40+1 after being induced x
