Hiya! First time mom here to a baby girl who's 1 month tomorrow ☺️ Might be a stupid question but I'm worried about my milk supply 😅 I'm ebf and the past 3 days my boobs have suddenly just gone... soft? Like I'm used to them being bigger, fuller, leaking, bit sore sometimes etc but all of a sudden it's just all stopped. My little girl is still eating as usual but for a few days I've been feeling pretty low in myself and haven't been eating a lot. Will this cause my milk supply to drop? I'm really trying to eat properly but my appetite has just disappeared! I'm definitely losing weight but I'm not bothered about that, I just want to know if it's normal to go "soft" after 4ish weeks of ebf or if it's my fault for not having an appetite and my supply dropping :( I really don't want to have to introduce a bottle if my supply is dropping... (Nothing against those who do, at all! It's just my preference for now) Please if you have any advice or tips, let me know 😭xx

It’s normal, mine got all soft now. But my milk supply is still high. But remember to keep feeding / or pumping coz it would get less.
@Anita I hope that's the case, even if she sleeps through a feed they just stay the same :/ x
@Imane I will, I wanted to try pumping in between feeds but she either naps for 20 mins or 3 hours so I don't want to risk there not being enough left for her y'know x
I noticed my boobs began to feel soft or ‘normal’ after about 4 weeks of ebf. I think it’s just your body getting used to how much baby is eating and not creating such an oversupply. I was worried my boobs weren’t feeding her enough as they felt empty after every feed. But it’s just the fullness starting to go and your body getting used to feeding. Definitely try to keep on top of eating though; even if you’re just snacking throughout the day. It’s better than nothing xx
@Ellie Lavinia Thank you hun, hearing that it's happened to other moms and it's fine has really helped the anxiety, which has made me less stressed, which has brought my appetite back up a bit 😂xx
Your body will produce more dw, plus babies will suck you even if there’s no milk coming out, and they won’t stop until they feel full or tired. But even so, the baby signals your milk to come in.
