Has anyone successfully done a nursing program while having littles?
Did you work? If you didn’t work how did you do it? Did you live off loans?
I have a BS and am looking into an accelerated nursing program. I would have to complete my human sciences to finish my pre-reqs.
Idk if I’m crazy for considering this. I think I would need to quit my job to be able to do it. I work full time. Looking for words of encouragement.

My husband is looking to do an ABSN program next year when our son will be about 18 months old. We already just have my income so it’ll just be loans to pay for his classes.
You can definitely do it with a little one. When I was in pharmacy school, I did a program that just had classes on weekends. One of my classmates had a young son. He was in daycare while she worked during the week and family on the weekend.
Hi!! Just to not make you feel alone- I am a medical student and my partner is a nursing student. We are expecting our first any day now and are very much nervous of juggling studies and a baby. However, universities tend to be really supportive- make sure you have conversations with institutions, check what childcare support they have (e.g our unis have nurseries).. what bursaries/ fundig etc is available. I would say having this all planned out in advance makes it easier (at least we are less nervous now about doing it). And a good support system is a must. But you can definitely do it Mama! Pursue your dreams :) 🫶🏾
