I think I’m going through it. How soon after starting to bleed did your tests turn negative? I’m literally testing twice a day, clinging onto the hope they are still positive. I started bleeding Friday and today (Sunday) it seems to have stopped with extremely light spotting when wiping.

Learn more about our guidelines.Ive had 3 chemicals and had one recently only a few weeks ago. I got a negative a week after and my bleeding lasted 5 days almost like a period but it was so much heavier. I did have a bleed with my daughter which was light pink and then turned to brown discharge. This was more a deep red and I knew with every chemical that it wasn’t good news.
I hope you are ok? Chemicals are a bit of a head fu@k because it’s such a quick turn around from finding out and then it’s over. If you want to chat I’m here xxx
Thanks so much Kelly. Sorry you’ve gone through this so many times xxx
My sister started bleeding from 4 days after a positive pregnancy test, up until 5 months almost everyday! They said it was just one of them things that happened!
@Chloe did she have a chemical or successful pregnancy? Thank you
I'm in the same boat atm. I tested positive, next day bled for 2 days and on and off spotting since. Had miscarraige at 10 weeks back in March no cycle since. Tests have got a bit darker but not overly. Started light bleeding/spotting again this morning. Have scan later but so nervous x
@Alice good luck for later. I hope it’s positive news for you. Let me know how it goes if you don’t mind xx
@Alice my hospital told me to take another test in 3 days to see if it’s negative or not. They weren’t very helpful 😟
Yes ofcourse, if you want to drop me a message incase I lose the thread xx
EPU said that to me last week about taking a test in a weeks time. I have been obsessively taking them and it has got darker but sometimes lighter. If I had judt taken 1 a week later would have been darker. Just so hard after losing previous baby xx
@Alice hope it went okay for you today x
Thanks for checking in. I had 2 scans and sent straight to EPU. Defo pregnant but possible ectopic so being monitored. Had hcg bloods taken x
Yes a healthy baby boy!
@Alice I’ve had an ectopic pregnancy before. Fingers crossed for you that that’s not the case for you! X
I had a chemical last month in our first month of trying. 9DPO I took a test and the faintest line appeared—barely visible. Then I tested every day for 5 days and it got darker and darker, but still very faint. Just more visible. I had all the symptoms—my boobs were rock hard and painful, I had acne on my chest (not normal for me), I had been exhausted for that whole week. On 13DPO I started spotting, and was hopeful it was implantation bleeding. Then on 14DPO, on the day I would’ve been predicted my period, I started bleeding big time. Physically, it was heavier and more painful than a regular period. I took a pregnancy test the next day, and the line was totally gone 💔
@Bianca sorry to hear this - what you’ve described is practically the exact same as what happened to me a few days ago. Fingers crossed for us both going forward!!!
