My little boy is 4 months old, since birth (elective c section) he sounds congested. He makes a lot of noise when eating and constantly sounds congested making grunting or snorting noises. It is worse when he is on his back, sleeping or getting his nappy changed, playing etc. I am going to call the doctors in the morning as this hasn’t improved since he was born and I’m slightly concerned, has anyone else experienced this or had any similar issues? Have tried using a snot remover and nothing comes out.

We went to the doctors last week and she said it’s extremely common in babies regardless of birth and usually subsides around 6 months, they are primarily nose breathers so when bunged up sounds awful. She also said that chesty sound is almost vibrations from throat rather than a chesty issue. My little one can sound like a French bulldog sometimes 🤣🤣
Oh and she said all I can do is continue to use the saline nose spray when is really bad to help clear ☺️
