Long distance isn't sustainable unless there's a plan for it to end
There is no plan for that at the moment. We live in a metro area, so an hour isn't terrible it is more just finding the actual time between kid stuff and work.
If he is a good man, loves you and you love him. Keep him! Yall will find a way! Me and my partner, when he was OTR, we chatted on the phone, video messaged, texted whenever we could. Hard work but I know it was worth it because I love him.
Okay so when would you consider moving in together? What does your future look like?

I’m not sure the coparenting situation with your kids’ other parents, but maybe there’s a better time allotment so that you can spend more time at your partners house? Like maybe extended weekends every so often at dad’s if possible?
I second coming up with a plan if you want to move forward in your current situation. Maybe it’s easier for one of you to rent out your home but still keep it if it’s needed?
Sorry you’re facing this. Distance and working around everything in life can be so hard.
