Starting to struggle with my LG sleep schedule.
I’m wanting her to sleep longer as she currently only does 40 mins 🙃
Wake windows are normally 2.5 - 3 hours long but I’m wondering if she’s over tired which is why she’s waking early from naps.
She used to sleep 1hr-2hrs at a time but now wakes after one sleep schedule.
Is this a phase they go through or do I need to change anything?

Our LG is 7.5 she's always napped max 30 mins. Her wake windows were 1 to 1.5h now she sleeps 30-45 mins wake windows 2 to 2.5 h...Tbh I'm not bothered about it, got used to it, I'm jealous of other kids sleeping 2-3 hours but she's sleeping through the night wakes maybe twice if she's not next to me to eat...you're not doing anything wrong, this will pass😇
My daughter only naps twice a day now she’s nearly 7 months old. Her wake windows are 3-4 hrs and she has a short nap on the morning and 1-2hrs on an afternoon and her bedtime is 8.00-8.30. Her afternoon nap is a contact nap dunno if that’s why she sleeps longer 🤷🏻♀️ From everything I’ve read this is their new sleep schedule but every baby is different! Xx
Have you tried longer wake windows? It’s sorted my cat napping baby out. Might be worth a try. Her ww are now 3-4 hours and does about 1.5-2 hours!! X
@Eve I’ve tried 3 hour ww and I feel like she gets over tired and struggles to settle down. Feel like I can’t do right from wrong at the moment xxx
Oh bless you, it’s so frustrating. It’s nit often but when she does 30 mins I get so frustrated even though it’s not her fault!
If you arnt already, try white noise, dark room, fed before she goes to sleep but try to avoid feeding to sleep. Teething might be playing a part maybe too? And the morning wake window is always shortest then gradually gets longer as the day goes on.
That’s all I know and my only advice. But keep going and do what you think is right.. even if it doesn’t work😅
My 7.5 month old twins have thrown their naps out the window over the last week, and we’ve also had a couple of dodgy nights from my girl twin in the last week (normally sleep 7-7 with no wakes)
I did extend their wake windows today and dropped the third nap and their naps were really good, so just waiting to see what tonight holds haha
