It’s Lysine safe during breastfeeding? (Please click yes or no only if you personally know it) thx

I’m having recurring cold sore and is exhausting while having a baby to care for. I book a gp appointment to be described Acyclovir tablet, but he said wasn’t safe, so I just left with nothing. Then I did some research and I found lysine can be effective to prevent cold sore. My question is: it’s safe while breastfeeding? The web has conflicting answers/ information about it. Thank you x

Your g p is genuinely an idiot! You can take both lysine and acyclovir while pregnant and breastfeeding.I've done both. It's torture isn't it? I fookin hate cold sores.

Just a trick on cold sores - Vaseline and crushed aspirin on it plus 3000mg lysine (if safe ) mines gone within 24 hours! And Zovirax too! Stay indoors while you have it. Also 1000mg lysine daily to prevent it
