My baby (just turned 6 months) had an 8pm bedtime which was always pretty seamless however for the past 2 weeks she will fall asleep in my arms as usual and then ping awake after 10-20 mins and then will be wide awake for an hour or two. Has anyone else experienced this and managed to get back to the routine? What time is everyone putting their baby down for bedtime?

Learn more about our guidelines. My baby wakes constantly at night, being awake for an hour or two is a lot though, suggests she’s not tired enough. Is she fighting naps or have her wake windows increased? Sounds like she needs more awake time during the day.
Their sleep needs change a lot during the first year.
Sorry @Shereen just seeing this now. She seems to have stopped this and we are getting back to the 8pm (ish) bedtime. I’m trying to drop the last nap of the day to make sure she is tired enough. Although saying that, she had a danger nap this evening and went down at 8pm on the dot no bother. I just wish there was a formula I could learn but it’s all rogue! 😂
